After 5 years the largest regional student sports event XXXIX SELL Student Games in 14 sports will be held in Kaunas, Lithuania. This year we have participants from 10 different countries. There will be more then 1300 participants from 36 universities.

At the XXXIX SELL Student Games, which will take place from 17-19 May, students wil participate in Lithuania Sport, Kaunas Technology and Vytautas Magnus universities sport venues, “Zalgirio Arena” swimming pool, Birštonas Sport Centre Stadium and Boulder House Climbing Centre.

On 11 April 1923, the Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania Student Unions concluded a cooperation programme in Tartu (Estonia). In the autumn of the same year, the first Baltic Student Olympic Games were held in Tartu. Later on, the Games were called the SELL Games (an abbreviation for the four Baltic countries – Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania). The 2023 SELL Games in Tartu, Estonia, marked the 100th anniversary of the Games.
