Lithuanian students’ sports association together with Ministry of Education and Sciences organize delegation from Lithuanian universities to participate in 1^st European Universities Games in Cordoba. There were teams from seven universities: Lithuanian Academy of Physical Education (LKKA) – basketball (woman), handball (woman), futsal (men), Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) – badminton (men, woman), tennis (woman), Vytautas Magnus University (VDU) – basketball (men), Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) – volleyball (women), Vilnius University (VU) – football (men), beach volleyball (men), table tennis (women), Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences (LEU) – handball (men), volleyball (men), Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VGTU) – beach volleyball (women), table tennis (men), tennis (men). In total were 140 people in Cordoba Games. Three teams won medals (one of each kind): Gold was for Vytautas Magnus University men basketball team, Silver – for Lithuanian Academy of Physical Education women handball team and Bronze – for Lithuanian Academy of Physical Education women basketball!
