Lithuanian universities participated in first EUSA Games

Lithuanian students’ sports association together with Ministry of Education and Sciences organize delegation from Lithuanian universities to participate in 1st European Universities Games in Cordoba. There were teams from seven universities: Lithuanian Academy of Physical Education (LKKA) – basketball (woman), handball (woman), futsal (men), Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) – badminton (men, woman), tennis (woman), Vytautas Magnus University (VDU) – basketball (men), Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) – volleyball (women), Vilnius University (VU) – football (men), beach volleyball (men), table tennis (women), Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences (LEU) – handball (men), volleyball (men), Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VGTU) – beach volleyball (women), table tennis (men), tennis (men). In total were 140 people in Cordoba Games. Three teams won medals (one of each kind): Gold was for Vytautas Magnus University men basketball team, Silver – for Lithuanian Academy of Physical Education women handball team and Bronze – for Lithuanian Academy of Physical Education women basketball!
